The cushion is a foam pad which is invisible to X-rays that makes your mammography exam more comfortable, without compromising the quality of the images. The reduction of discomfort found with MammoPad breast cushions helps you relax during the imaging, and assists with positioning and sufficient compression which are important components of your mammogram.
